дело [the deal] is a short animation made with live-action video footage,
combined with pencil and vector-based animation.
The animated short is in Russian with English subtitles
(but the Russian dialouge is actually quite different
from the English subtitles).
Based on a ficticious journal entry by Fyodor Dostoevsky,
the short entertains the idea that the Grand Inquisitor
visits a paranoid Dostoevsky in the form of a rat,
and eventually turns him over to a fate of damnation
in exchange for his final literary masterwork, The Brothers Karamazov.
On April 7th, 2009, it aired on Episode 174 of Channel Frederator.
